Lenovo to release 23″ tablet by the end of this year…

William Cai, a Lenovo senior specialist in marketing, told techradar during a talk at this year’s Gadget Show Live that they are currently working on a 23 inch tablet. If it is true, Lenovo will surely release its new 23-inch tablet sooner or later but not longer than this year. And he admits it wont be as portable as your more typical, smaller tablet, but could still be easily moved between rooms, used as a TV, and is big enough to offer you a full-size QWERTY keyboard.

At first glance, such a huge PC tablet goes against all logic. But then again, it may just require a shift in concept of what a PC tablet is all about. When you stop to think about it, the design really isn’t that far off from the iMac desktops that Apple has been producing since the mid 2000s – really, the only difference would be a touch screen and a kickstand. The Apple iMac has seen unprecedented and ongoing success, and mobility would only add to its function. The same could happen for the Lenovo mega PC tablet, as long as they find a confident purpose and the right way to market it.

Lenovo has introduced a range of high performance Laptops and PCs based on 2nd generation Intel Core Processors in India couple of days back. These new computers are said to offer higher performance, smoother functioning, a superior visual experience and enhanced responsiveness.
The Lenovo Z570 laptop features a brushed metal chassis, LED backlit HD display, 640 GB HDD, Accu type keyboard, Windows 7, smarter power and performance management, and robust security features. The Lenovo G570 also sports similar features and comes at a budget price.
The Lenovo ThinkPad L420 and ThinkPad T420 laptops are composed of 100 percent recyclable components and have great power efficiency. The ThinkPad L420 features integrated Intel HD graphics, while the T420 has Nvidia graphics solution with Optimus technology for better power management.
Lenovo’s All-in-One range which includes the A320, B320 and 520 incorporate second generation core processors. They also have features such as One Key TV, LED backlit screens, 1GB graphics solutions, 1TB HDD, multi-touch interface, and a 3D experience.

The Z series price range starts from Rs. 33,190. The Lenovo G570 is priced at Rs. 30,490, The ThinkPad L420 is priced at Rs. 64,195 while the Thinkpad T420 costs Rs. 83,322. There is no word on the pricing yet for the All-in-One A,B range yet.
