HTC Sensation 4G takes HTC flagship mantle….
Apr 13th
HTC has announced its new flagship smartphone, the HTC Sensation which is Powered by a 1.2 GHz MSM8660 dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) the HTC Sensation is designed with multimedia in mind. The Sense 3.0, front-facing VGA camera, and 4G capabilities, the Sensation shares most of the features from the EVO 3D, just subtract the 3D from that.
Tapping into HTC’s trademark design language, the HTC Sensation’s premium look and feel is enhanced by its rounded edges, aluminum unibody construction and the touch screen surface is protected by a contoured screen that feels more natural as a finger is glided across it. The 4.3″ qHD (960 x 540) display delivers high-resolution widescreen viewing and gives the HTC Sensation slender proportions that feel natural in a person’s hand. At the heart of the HTC Sensation beats a powerful, 1.2 gigahertz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which enables gorgeous graphics and all-around fast performance.
A higher resolution 8-megapixel rear facing autofocus camera that can shoot 1080p video at 30fps. Captured video can also be trimmed on the phone itself before uploading. For downloading videos, the Sensation’s HSPA+ capabilities promise speed up to 14.4 Mbps, and a new HTC Watch video download service, that will also be found on the company’s upcoming Flyer tablet, makes its first appearance in a phone.
The Sensation comes with 768 MB of RAM and 1GB of internal memory, but HTC has thrown in an 8GB microSD card to help with all that video your service provider hopes you’ll be downloading on the device. The phone weighs 148 g (5.2 oz.) and at 11.3 mm (0.44 inches) thick, comes in slightly thicker than the iPhone 4. However, the Sensation’s 4.3-inch widescreen display is almost an inch bigger than the 3.5-inch display of Apple‘s device.
Features include a customizable active lock screen that constantly updates social media, photos, weather or stock updates, which can then be viewed by waking the display. The lock screen also serves as the launchpad for jumping to the phone’s most-used features. For example, the camera can be launched right from the lock screen in a single motion to give users the best possible chance of capturing the action.
HTC Sense also makes it easy to have fun by enabling people to capture and share special moments. The HTC Sensation’s 8-megapixel camera doesn’t just shoot gorgeous photos but, with the new instant capture feature, lets people capture the moments they want without worrying about missing or keeping up with the action. The HTC Sensation also shoots full HD video in 1080p resolution as said earlier, with full stereo sound, at up to 30 frames a second, giving you smooth video that is better than many other phones. With the new Video Trimmer tool, people can crop their clips to the perfect size for easy sharing with friends and family.
HTC will release the Sensation 4G around May/June, and worldwide availability details are yet to be announced. To check Other HTC models Click Pricesbolo.com.
HTC Flyer Android Tablet to get Honeycomb Upgrade.
Apr 6th
HTC just announced on it’s Twitter page that it will be upgrading it’s HTC Flyer Tablet to Android 3.0 Honeycomb as soon as it becomes available.
When the Flyer was first unveiled at the MWC in Barcelona last month, it was running Android 2.4, a modified version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread, even though Honeycomb is the only version designed specifically for tablets.
However, Google has been exercising tighter control over Honeycomb, so not all upcoming tablets will have it right out of the box. Honeycomb update for the Flyer will come “when it’s made available.” That seems to imply HTC hasn’t received permission from Google to use Honeycomb yet.
The Flyer is a seven-inch tablet that includes a stylus for taking notes, drawing, and annotating documents. It’s scheduled to be released during the second quarter of this year. The HTC Flyer has an awesome 3D interface which the manufacturer has developed exclusively for the tablets. Flyer is a 7 incher with an aluminum body, which makes the tablet light weight and sturdy.

Mar 28th
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 to get Android 2.3 a.k.a “Gengerbread” Update by the end of Q2 or in the beginning Q3. It is really a great news for the Xperia X10 owners, who were sulking so far. The update release is based on Android 2.3.3. Even though the Sony Ericsson company had announced earlier that it has no intension to provide any further Android updates for its Xperia X10, but today’s announcement is certainly a welcome news.

Limited Changelogs:
1.Moxier is replaced by the Gingerbread native EAS functionalities.
2.DRM keys for the protected contents will be lost in this update.
3.The Sony Ericssion Backup and Restore client is not supported in the “Gengerbread” version and it will be lost even.
