Apple’s white iPhone 4 to be seen at the end of APRIL, FINALLY…
Apr 15th
Apple repeatedly delayed the product in 2010, citing manufacturing issues. Last October, the company announced that the white iPhone 4 would not arrive until spring 2011.
The extended delay of the white iPhone 4 has prompted speculation that Apple will hold off on releasing a redesigned iPhone this summer. Numerous rumors have now suggested that Apple will instead release the so called iPhone 5 this fall, with one report suggesting that Apple would not release a next-generation iPhone until after Apple’s fiscal 2012 begins in late September.
A new report claims that Apple will finally begin selling the white iPhone 4 by the end of April after having resolved manufacturing challenges that resulted in a 10-month delay.
Citing people familiar with Apple’s plans, Bloomberg reported Wednesday that the white iPhone is almost ready for launch on both AT&T and Verizon, corroborating an earlier report from AppleInsider that the device would launch in April.
The white model may help spur demand as Apple works on the next generation of its top- elling product. Apple, the world’s largest technology company by market value, isn’t planning to announce a new iPhone at its June developers’ conference, breaking with its practice in past years, two people familiar with the matter said. It may instead introduce the next iPhone in September, according to Mike Abramsky, an analyst at RBC Capital Markets in Toronto.
The white iPhone 4 was originally supposed to come out shortly after the black iPhone 4 debuted in June of last year, but it has been repeatedly delayed due to issues with light leaking through the glass plate and onto the camera sensor. Since the introduction of the first iPod media player in 2001, white has been a popular colour for Apple’s gadgets. The earlier iPhone 3GS model was available in white, as is the iPad 2, which went on sale last month.

Lenovo to release 23″ tablet by the end of this year…
Apr 13th
William Cai, a Lenovo senior specialist in marketing, told techradar during a talk at this year’s Gadget Show Live that they are currently working on a 23 inch tablet. If it is true, Lenovo will surely release its new 23-inch tablet sooner or later but not longer than this year. And he admits it wont be as portable as your more typical, smaller tablet, but could still be easily moved between rooms, used as a TV, and is big enough to offer you a full-size QWERTY keyboard.
At first glance, such a huge PC tablet goes against all logic. But then again, it may just require a shift in concept of what a PC tablet is all about. When you stop to think about it, the design really isn’t that far off from the iMac desktops that Apple has been producing since the mid 2000s – really, the only difference would be a touch screen and a kickstand. The Apple iMac has seen unprecedented and ongoing success, and mobility would only add to its function. The same could happen for the Lenovo mega PC tablet, as long as they find a confident purpose and the right way to market it.
Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing, release date, or availability…. Click Pricesbolo.com to check on various models of Lenovo products and tablets.
HandStand case puts iPad in your Palm
Apr 6th
Apple‘s iPad tablet has become an expansion of the arm for many people. Despite being designed for portability – and the iPad 2 being 15 percent lighter than the first iPad – using either version of the device for any longer than a few minutes without some kind of support can lead to arm and hand strain. Hub International’s HandStand case makes things much more comfortable by letting you attach an iPad to your hand.
The HandStand has been available for a while now for the original iPad and the makers have stuck to the same tried and true design for the thinner and lighter iPad 2. A one-size-fits-all elastic strap on the back of the silicone case keeps the iPad attached to the hand and frees up the other for manipulating the touchscreen. The strap is attached to the case via a rotating disk that allows users to spin the iPad from landscape to portrait, while an integrated stand sits the device on a slight incline on a desk for easier two-handed typing.
“As the iPad makes its way into everyday use for work and leisure, we saw the growing need for a solution that enabled it to be carried for long periods of time,” said Jaime Smith, founder of Hub International. With analyst expectations that iPads will be the fastest integrated device in enterprise, quicker than PCs, Laptops and Smartphones, it was more important than ever to answer to the corporate need. The HandStand is made from 100 percent recycled plastics and resin and is available in black, pink or white.
Miniot’s Wood for iPad 2 looks like a Real Wood.
Apr 1st
Seems like Apple’s Smart Cover for the iPad 2 might have some fierce competition from a product made by a company in Holland called MINIOT. When Apple first debuted the Smart Cover, we knew we would see some third-party copy cats, but who knew that the first one to be available for order would be so beautiful - Minot’s wooden iPad 2 cover.
The magnetic design of Apple’s Smart Cover, which was released in conjunction with the iPad 2, has been almost as buzzed about as the device itself. The design features an attached front cover to the iPad which uses magnets to put the device to sleep when it’s in use and awaken it when removed. This new cover from Miniot mimics that clever design, but stands out against the sea of Apple’s typical and unadventurous color options.
It basically differs from the Apple Smart Cover. Instead of folding into a triangle, the Miniot cover folds into a cylinder which makes it perfect for watching videos or using it in portrait mode. This elegant and simple design gets the job done, protecting the vulnerable side of the iPad without a lot of decorative frippery, but if you feel compelled to add your own, you can get your cover personally engraved for free. This is very Cool…!!!
