NEC announces the new V-series multimedia projector named NP-V300X. It adds to its V-Series multimedia projector line the new affordable NP-V300X model. The NEC NP-V300X multimedia projector has a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels with a contrast ratio of 2000:1 DLP engine (Texas Instruments), 3000 lumens of brightness and lamp life to 5000 hours Eco mode, that has the ability to adjust the brightness of the required and desired power to be used. The NEC NP-V300X multimedia projector is equipped with PC Control Utility Pro 4, built-in wall color correction presets, RJ-45 for connection to the LAN (10/100 base-T capability).

The NEC V300X offers quick start (3 seconds), auto power on via the RGB input connector and direct power-off with no cooling required after shutdown. Additionally, its filter-free design eliminates the hassle and time spent monitoring and changing filters. It has built-in 7 watt speaker. The NEC NP-V300X projector has Carbon savings meter which calculates the positive effects of operating the projector in Eco mode and also includes HDMI, dual computer, composite video, S-Video and component video. It measures 3.7H x 12.2W x 9.7D and weight 5.5 lbs.
